One of the biggest problems with bean bag chairs is the fill. Most bean bag chairs use re-grind for their bean bag fill which packs down very quickly (in a matter of weeks). Even the EPS virgin bead packs down fairly quickly for the price you pay and then your rear is hitting the ground.
The noise is another big problem with EPS bead in a bean bag as anyone who sits in one will attest. Even the smallest move will cause quite a loud annoying noise. Regrind is not nearly as bad but it makes a fair amount of noise as well.
The feel of the bean bag is very stiff even after a short while. Watch a movie and your rear feels like you's watched a football game on the bleachers.
Also most bead filled adult sized bean bag chairs come underfilled unless they include an extra box of fill and that goes even for a regular sized adult bean bags let alone loveseats which always require ay least two boxes.

The very best choice for fill is our new super mix which is a proprietary mix of select end cut foam in varying colors from the cushion industry and PET virgin bead. It has the feel of a poof chair but still allows you to move around and shape it easily and holds it shape better that the poof or foamy chairs. It also makes no noise like the virgin bead does. Our bean bag chairs look bigger, feel better and last longer.
Select end cut foam is what you get in the manufacturing of furniture or any number of foam pads, circles, pillows, ect. We take that new select end cut foam in varying colors and hand mix it with PET double pass virgin bead. We have tested this out with kids and adults and all agree the feel of the bag is.
PET virgin bead is a specially formulated PET resin (in this case recycled plastic bottles) turned into double pass virgin bead and which is 10 times more durable and resilient than EPS single pass virgin bead (polystyrene foam).
PET double pass virgin bead is not cut packing foam.

PET virgin has 50% less expanding agent in the form of inert carbon dioxide and has no smell per se.
Nearly all EPS is expanded with Pentane or Iso Butane. Both are highly toxic but legal expanding agents which are highly flamable.
EPS Regrind (found in most bean bags) once it begins compressing and begins breaking down turns into a fine powder with flat chunks which can in some circumstances poof out of most bean bag chairs. This powder is a very fine and hard to see substance that regrettably most people don't notice.
